SYLAR PoP NETWORK · OPEN ENROLLMENT

Your machine. Your region.
Your internet, upgraded.

Big CDN companies skip most of the world. You can fix that from your desk. Host a SYLAR Point of Presence — serve cached content and security to everyone near you — and earn rent for every gigabyte you stand behind.

ONE COMMAND — ROOT OR SUDO

curl -s https://wwd.tytehosting.com/pop_agent.sh | sudo bash

Installs in under a minute. Uninstall anytime: sylar-pop uninstall

The agent registers your machine (real location, real free space — no self-reporting) and starts a caching proxy on port 8080.

Stay online, get promoted

24h alive → Trial. 30 days at 90%+ uptime → Verified. Fully automatic — the growth engine checks every 15 minutes.

Earn rent

Verified PoPs accrue $0.05/GB/month — every donated gigabyte standing between your neighbors and a slow, unsafe internet.

What runs on your machine

A 5-minute heartbeat (free disk, uptime, latency) — nothing else, ever.
A caching reverse proxy (nginx if you have it, tiny Python fallback) that serves cached public copies of SYLAR pages to visitors near you.
Not run: no file access, no shell, nothing on your machine is readable, writable, or served to anyone.
